3. Processing of Personal Data
3.1. General Usage
Our Application doesnot require user authentication and does not use tracking. Only technicalserver log data is collected automatically and temporarily stored, including:
- IP address (shortened if required)
- Date and time of access
- Operating system and browser type
- Accessed resources
These data are solely used to ensure the security and stability of the Application and are not combined with other data.
3.2. Contact and Marketing
If you contact us via email, we store and process the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, message content) to respond to your inquiry.With your explicit consent, we may send you marketing information about our services. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
3.3. Voluntary Donations via In-App-Purchases
If you make a voluntary donation via In-App-Purchases, we process the associated transaction data only to the extent necessary for processing the donation and complying with legal and tax requirements. These data are stored for the legally required period and then deleted.
3.4. Processing of Data from Scientific Publications
Our Application visualizes data from scientific publications and processes the names and affiliations of authors. These data originate from already published studies and are publicly accessible in scientific databases such as PubMed and GoogleScholar.
The processing of these data is not time-limited. However, affected authors have the right to request corrections of incorrect information. Other data subject rights, as outlined inSection 6 of this policy, remain unaffected.
3.5. EVIglance Studio
If you register for our “EVIglance Studio” service as a "Creator", we will store the data associated with your user account (name, password, professional affiliation, email address, as well as log data). This is necessary in order to provide personalized services and ensure the security of both your account and our services. We retain this data for at least the duration of your registration plus one additional year, so that we can demonstrate our fulfillment of services and rule out any potential misuse of the service.

Our Application is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The hosting contract is maintained with a European service partner.
